Certainly no one can resist the scent of freshly ground coffee, or the delicious kariokas of the well-known confectionery shops of the city, as well as the very famous “syropiasta”, which are pastries that soaked in sugar- or honey syrup.
On Saturday the locals as well as the visitors will visit the most famous bazaar of Greece, “Xanthi´s Pazari” that combines all kinds of goods, from food to clothing, footwear, furniture and many other products.
